Senior Airman Debra Loh

Airman 1st Class (A1C) Debra Loh is a bassoonist with United States Air Force Heritage of America Band. Originally from Portland, Oregon, she performs with the Concert Band and Heritage Winds.

Prior to joining the Air Force, A1C Loh enjoyed a varied career as a performer and educator. She held the principal bassoon position of the Des Moines Metro Opera Orchestra in 2020, and has performed with the Harrisburg Symphony Orchestra, the Annapolis Symphony Orchestra and The Washington Chorus.

A1C Loh received her Bachelor’s degree from the Eastman School of Music and completed her graduate studies at the University of Maryland as a member of the Fellowship Woodwind Quintet. Her primary teachers include George Sakakeeny and Joseph Grimmer. She has participated in programs including the Sarasota Music Festival, National Orchestral Institute + Festival and Eastern Music Festival.
