Airman First Class (A1C) Sean A. White is a clarinetist at The United States Air Force Heritage of America Band, Joint Base Langley-Eustis, Virginia.
A1C White enlisted in the Air Force in January 2022. He completed Basic Military Training in February 2022 and started his position as clarinetist with The Heritage of America Band in March 2022 where he is a member of the Concert Band and Heritage Winds. Prior to joining the Air Force, A1C White earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education from the University of North Florida and a Masters of Music in Clarinet Performance from Northwestern University. His former teachers include Nancy Theile, Dr. Melissa Simmons, Peter Wright, Steven Cohen, Mark Nuccio, and Leslie Grimm.
As a student musician, A1C White was afforded opportunities to perform all over the world to include Belgium for the International Clarinet Association Clarinet Fest - 2018 and Spain for the World Association for Symphonic Bands and Ensembles Convention - 2019. A1C White has also performed in various masterclasses for world renowned clarinetists such as Corrado Giuffredi, Patrick Graham, Jonathan Gunn, Alcides Rodriguez, Victoria Luperi, Inn-Hyuck Cho, Pierre Genisson, Philippe Cuper, and Richard Stoltzman.
