Technical Sergeant Joseph Glassman

Technical Sergeant Joseph Glassman joined the United States Air Force Academy Band, Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado, in December 2021. He currently performs as the Drummer with Pegasus, Vibraphonist/Percussionist with the Falconaires, and Drummer/Percussionist the Marching Band and the Concert Band. He also serves as a Cyber Security Liaison.

Technical Sergeant Glassman grew up in Littleton, CO. His studies in music began at a young age, born into an already musical family. In 2014, he earned a Bachelor of Music in Classical Percussion Performance from The University of Denver’s Lamont School of Music under scholarship. He studied under John Kinzie, Principal Percussion with the Colorado Symphony. In 2019, he completed his graduate studies in Jazz Vibraphone Performance at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign under Tuition Waiver and Teaching Assistantship. He studied under Chip Stephens, Professor of Jazz Piano.
