Technical Sergeant Ryan Spencer joined the United States Air Force Academy Band, Peterson Space Force Base, Colorado, in 2021. He currently performs on trumpet with Stellar Brass, Concert Band, Ceremonial Marching Band, and as a solo bugler. He also serves as music librarian, arranger/copyist, and event crew member.
TSgt Spencer has been a professional musician and educator along the Front Range since 2004. He has performed with Colorado Symphony, Denver Brass, Cheyenne Symphony, and Denver Philharmonic, among others. He volunteers as Artistic Director and soprano cornetist for Colorado Brass, a competitive non-profit brass band.
Dr. Spencer has obtained multiple degrees in music performance and pedagogy, along with certificates in music theory and music technology. He is an alumnus of Santa Clara Vanguard Drum and Bugle Corps. He is originally from Marietta, GA, and enjoys hiking, camping, and snowboarding.
