Senior Airman Michael Peloquin is an Audio Engineer with the United States Air Force Band of Mid-America, where he provides live sound reinforcement, recording and mastering engineering, and technical acumen to the rock band Starlifter as well as the 45-member concert band. He also assists all other performance groups as livestream production technician.
After a successful audition at Lackland Air Force Base, SrA Peloquin joined the Air Force in October 2021. He began his career with the Band of Mid-America January 2022, joining Starlifter as their audio engineer. In October 2023, he also joined the concert band to provide sound reinforcement. SrA Peloquin contributed to the USAF video production team, reenforcing music and narration for a production which reached 33 million Americans. He has represented the Air Force in 10 states and 6 countries.
SrA Peloquin deployed with Starlifter in April 2023 to Al Udeid Air Base, Qatar to serve as the AFCENT Band audio engineer. He reenforced performances for over 100,000 people across the middle east, including U.S. embassy ceremonies, troop morale concerts, and public performances.
Prior to joining the Air Force, SrA Peloquin worked in the Washington DC events production industry for nearly a decade. He provided support to thousands of performers as the venue audio engineer at the 8x10 in Baltimore, MD; was a major contributor to audio and logistics across dozens of music festivals in the Eastern United States; toured in support of bands across the US and Canada, and worked as a freelance audio engineer, lighting technician, and stagehand in the Washington DC/Maryland/Virginia region.
