Airman First Class Brian Ellerman is originally from West Chester, OH. Prior to auditioning for the USAF, he lived in Columbus, OH where he worked as a freelance musician, performing and recording with various artists, most notably The World Famous Glenn Miller Orchestra. A1C Ellerman has a Master of Music Degree in Percussion Performance from Wright State University and a Bachelor of Music Degree in Jazz Studies from The Ohio State University. He has studied with Jerry Noble, Jim Rupp, and Steve Lyman. He has been with United States Air Force Band of Mid-America since December 2021 and currently performs with the Concert Band, the Ceremonial Band, and Starlifter.
