1st Lieutenant Dorian Neuendorf

1st Lt Dorian Neuendorf is Flight Commander and Associate Conductor of the United States Air Force Band of Mid-America, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois. Lt Neuendorf assists the Commander to lead, organize, and equip a unit of 60 Airmen in over 400 annual engagements throughout a 10-state region to accomplish the band’s mission to honor, inspire, connect, and recruit.

A native of Cleveland, Ohio, Lt Neuendorf earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Composition and Bassoon Performance from Cleveland State University and a Master of Music degree in Orchestral Conducting from the University of South Carolina.

Prior to joining the Air Force, she held conducting positions with the Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra (Cleveland, OH), Union Symphony Orchestra (Monroe, NC), Columbia Community Orchestra (Columbia, SC), and the Hendersonville Symphony Youth Orchestra (Hendersonville, NC). She was a 2019 finalist of The American Prize in Conducting.
