Senior Airman Jeffrey Sharoff

Senior Airman Jeffrey Sharoff is a trombonist with the United States Air Force Band of the Pacific-Asia, stationed at Yokota Air Base in Tokyo, Japan. In addition to his musical duties, he serves as the Music Director of Pacific Brass, Team Lead of the unit’s Computer Shop, and a member of both the Productions Team and the Public Affairs team as Social Media Representative.

SrA Sharoff entered the Air Force in April 2021 and completed Basic Military Training followed by the Band Apprentice Course at the USAF School of Music, Joint Expeditionary Base Little Creek–Fort Story, Virginia, graduating in July 2021. He has over four years of active-duty service, with assignments in California and Japan. His career highlights include serving as a featured performer at the 2024 APEC Summit in San Francisco—attended by the President, Vice President, and world leaders from across the Pacific region—and appearing as a guest soloist and clinician at the 2024 Trombone Day at Cleveland State University. He has demonstrated leadership in both musical and technical capacities, with experience spanning ensemble direction, IT systems administration, and public engagement. Prior to his current position, the senior airman was a trombonist with the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, Travis Air Force Base, California.

SrA Sharoff is a 2017 graduate of Rutgers University, New Brunswick, N.J., where he earned a Bachelor of Music with concentrations in Trombone Performance and Music Education. He later completed non-degree graduate studies at Cleveland State University under the mentorship of Shachar Israel, Assistant Principal Trombonist of The Cleveland Orchestra.
