Senior Airman Christopher Arellano

Airman First Class Christopher Arellano hails from Harlingen in the Río Grande Valley of southern Texas. He began his music education through the public school system on saxophone and guitar which led to performing in various local bands. This experience provided rich opportunities and real world experience covering a wide range of genres and styles from a very young age. Eventually, he continued his musical education by studying saxophone at Texas A&M University – Kingsville, where he earned a bachelor’s degree in music education. Shortly after graduating, a multi-instrumentalist, he began working as a guitarist, arranger, soloist, band leader, and music manager on cruise lines for seven years.

A1C Arellano won his USAF Band audition in 2020 and is currently assigned as the guitarist in the United States Air Force Band of Flight, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.
