Senior Airman Sebastian Bell

Airman First Class (A1C) Sebastian Bell is a trombonist and bass trombonist with the United States Air Force (USAF) Heritage of America Band. He is a member of Heritage Brass and the Concert Band.

A1C Bell studied bass trombone mainly  at the Cleveland Institute of Music.

Prior to joining the United States Air Force A1C Bell was a freelance musician. He has held positions with the Kalamazoo Symphony Orchestra, the Wheeling Symphony Orchestra, the Youngstown Symphony Orchestra and the Mansfield Symphony Orchestra. As a substitute and extra musician he has performed with the Cleveland Orchestra, the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, the Detroit Symphony Orchestra and the Cincinnati Symphony Orchestra.

A1C Bell holds an Artist Certificate from the Cleveland Institute of Music, studying with Members of the Cleveland Orchestra as well as Ed Zadrozny, and took private lessons with Randy Hawes. He attended the Trombone Summer Seminar at Northwestern University, hosted by Professor Michael Mulcahy, member of the Chicago Symphony Orchestra. He has spent summers holding the bass trombone position with the Pacific Music Festival, the Schleswig Holstein Music Festival and the Spoleto USA Festival. As an educator, A1C Bell taught low brass at Notre Dame College in South Euclid, Ohio.
