Senior Airman Will Comer is a Pianist, Organist, Accordionist, and Synth player with the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, Travis AFB, CA. Originally from Wilton, CT, his Air Force career began in 2020.
SrA Comer has been performing and entertaining crowds across the continental United States since he was twelve years-old. He has appeared in a variety of musical environments over the years, such as ballet accompaniment, big bands and small combos in jazz clubs, underground basement rock fusion bands, Salsa/Afro-Cuban ensembles, background accompaniment for improv comedy shows, classical collaborative piano, contemporary Christian worship bands, and touring Polka Octoberfest bands. SrA Comer’s love of all music shows no bounds and can be heard through his eclectic style. He has had the fortune to play with a variety of incredible performers such as Tommy Campbell, Ray Anderson, Claire Daly and has opened for touring artists such as Miranda Lambert. He is also a passionate composer and arranger and won First Place in the 2016 American Accordionists’ Association National Elsie Bennett Composition Competition. He is also a student of Fred Hersch and Eddie Palmieri. To date, he has one album as a leader, “Off We Go”, a musical reflection of his journey thus far. He also has a love of teaching and has piano students across the country.
