Tech Sergeant Timothy Davis

Technical Sergeant Timothy Davis is a pianist with the USAF Academy Band.  He is also the Music Director for the performing group Blue Delta. 

Born on Tyndall AFB, FL and raised in Tuscaloosa Alabama, Sgt. Davis began studying piano at the age of four, and progressed quickly.  By age 10 he was performing throughout the southeast and competing in several state and national level competitions.  During his teenage years, Sgt. Davis began to compose his own music and perform with various bands in local venues. 

TSgt Davis attended the University of Alabama from 2005-2009, studying Piano Performance under the tutelage of the late Amanda Penick.  He also pursued Jazz Studies under talented guitarist and ensemble leader Tom Wolfe. 

In 2011, Sgt. Davis auditioned and won a position as a pianist with the Band of the United States Air Force Reserve.  He remained in the regional band career field from September 2011 till July 2021.  In March of 2021, Sgt. Davis won his position with the USAF Academy band.
