Staff Sergeant Michael Horrigan, a native of Grand Rapids, Michigan, is a bassist with the United States Air Force Band of the Pacific-Asia, Yokota Air Base, Japan. He performs with both Final Approach and the Pacific Showcase jazz ensemble.
Sergeant Horrigan entered the Air Force in August 2018. Prior to joining, he performed extensively throughout the Midwest as both a bandleader and sideman in a variety of ensembles. He studied jazz performance at Western Michigan University under respected artists including Tom Knific, Dr. Scott Cowan, Matthew Fries, Dr. Andrew Rathbun, and Ed Simon.
