Technical Sergeant Bradley Robinson

Technical Sgt. Bradley Robinson is a percussionist with the Concert Band, The United States Air Force Band, Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling, Washington, D.C. A native of Cincinnati, Ohio, his career in the Air Force began in 2016 as a member of The United States Air Force Band of the West, Lackland Air Force Base, San Antonio, Texas.

Prior to joining the band, Robinson toured the Midwest with his rock band “3 Ways Out,” playing with such acts as John Michael Montgomery, Mr. K from “Big in Iowa,” and Randy Peak from David Allen Coe and Merle Haggard. He pursued 6 semesters of study at the University of Georgia where he studied with Timothy K. Adams, Jr. and Kimberly Toscano.  Additionally, Robinson earned a Bachelor of Music degree in Performance from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music and a Master of Music degree from Ohio University. He has also studied with a number of highly regarded instructors including Rusty Burge, Jim Culley, Roger Braun, Bill Albin, Guy Remonko, Deron Frye, Eric Weber, Karen Schweinfest, Dan Meeks, and Karl Robinson.

Highlights from Robinson’s Air Force career include performances with musicians such as Wayne Bergeron, CMSgt (ret.) Joe Eckert, Doc Severinson, Ryan Anthony, Jens Lindeman, and renowned marimbist Logan Keese.  Furthermore, he was a featured soloist on Michael Daugherty’s composition "Raise the Roof" while a member of the U.S. Air Force Band of the West’s Concert Band, performing the piece at the Texas Bandmaster’s Association convention.
