Technical Sergeant Joseph Hudson joined the United States Air Force Academy Band, Peterson Air Force Base, Colorado, in 2021. He is a trombonist in the Concert Band, Falconaires jazz ensemble, and Marching Band. Since joining the Air Force in 2016, TSgt Hudson has been blessed to perform in Japan, South Korea, Thailand, Malaysia, Papua New Guinea, Micronesia, Palau, Hawaii, and various states throughout the southwestern United States.
TSgt Hudson is a native of Lexington, KY. He was a fellow at the Aspen Music Festival (Aspen, CO) in 2012 and 2013 and a member of the National Repertory Orchestra (Boulder, CO) in 2014. TSgt Hudson is a graduate of the Manhattan School of Music, where he received his Bachelor of Music degree in 2014 under the tutelage of Per Brevig. In 2016, TSgt Hudson received a Master of Music degree from the University of Kentucky, where he studied with Brad Kerns.
