SSgt Derrick Christopher Newbold is a Saxophonist at the USAF Band of Mid-America, Scott AFB, IL. He is an instrumentalist in three music performance teams.
Originally hailing from Miami, Florida, Sergeant Newbold entered the Air Force in November 2015. He completed Basic Military training in January 2015, and since then has held a variety of musical and administrative positions for two Units. Prior to his current position, he was a member of the USAF Band of the Pacific, Yokota AB, Japan starting in February 2016.
