Staff Sergeant Chloe B. Holmes plays trumpet in the United States Air Force Heartland of America Band stationed at Offutt Air Force Base, NE. In addition to her musical duties with Offutt Brass, she also serves as NCOIC of Readiness and Unit Training Manager.
She entered the US Air Force in March of 2018 and was assigned to Wright-Patterson AFB’s Band of Flight. In November of 2021, she was transferred to the USAFE-AFAFRICA Band at Ramstein AB, Germany, where she performed in a variety of ensembles in over 30 nations throughout Europe and Africa as a trumpet player and operations team lead.
Originally from Fairfield, CA, Sergeant Holmes earned a Bachelor of Music from Bob Jones University and a Master of Music at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign and performed with multiple orchestras throughout the state of Indiana, as well as teaching at Indiana University, South Bend.
