Senior Master Sergeant Matthew Peacock

Master Sergeant Matthew D. Peacock is a native of Monroe, Louisiana. He received his Bachelor’s Degree in Piano Performance from the University of Louisiana, Monroe in 2002. In November of 2002, Sergeant Peacock joined the Air Force and was assigned to the Band of Flight, Wright-Patterson AFB, OH.  Soon after, he was reassigned to the USAFE Band, Sembach-Kaserne, Germany. In 2007, he joined the PACAF band in Alaska for a three year tour, then back to the USAFE Band now at Ramstein Air Force Base, Germany. In September of 2013, he was reassigned to the PACAF band at Yokota Air Base, Japan for a nearly six year tour. In May of 2019, Sergeant Peacock returned to the States and was stationed with the USAF Band of the West in San Antonio, TX. In May of 2021, he returned to the USAFE Band for a third tour.

Master Sergeant Peacock is the Section Chief of Readiness as well as the Unit Deployment Manager and the NCOIC of Touch ‘n Go, the popular music ensemble, for the USAFE Band, Ramstein AFB, Germany. He oversees an eight-member team and is responsible for all deployment, upgrade and physical training requirements for the USAFE Band. He has served in a variety of collateral duties to include Resource Advisor; Section Chief of Administrative Support; Section Chief of Publicity, NCOIC of Productions as well as NCOIC of several music performance teams within the PACAF and USAFE AORs.  

Master Sergeant Peacock has deployed in support of African Partnership Flight, Operations Enduring Freedom, Freedom’s Sentinel, Inherent Resolve, New Dawn and Resolute Support.
