Master Sergeant Rachel Wilson

TSgt Rachel Wilson, a native of Colorado Springs, CO, serves as a vocalist with the USAF Heartland of America Band.  Prior to joining the U.S. Air Force, she earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education from Colorado State University-Pueblo in 2006.

TSgt Wilson began her career with The Band of the Golden West at Travis AFB, CA.  From there, Sergeant Wilson has enjoyed many assignment opportunities in Germany, Virginia, Texas, Colorado, and Hawaii.

In 2008, 2010, and 2013, Sergeant Wilson deployed to Southwest Asia as a member of the Air Force Central Command Band.  She had the privilege of supporting various military operations by performing for service members and local communities in Qatar, Iraq, Afghanistan, UAE, Oman, Africa, Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, and Kyrgyzstan.  While assigned to the United States Air Forces in Europe Band, Sergeant Wilson performed for a variety of military and civilian audiences in support of USAF partnership-building initiatives in over 16 European and Asian nations.  While assigned to the USAF Heritage of America Band, TSgt Wilson had the distinct privilege of representing the Armed Forces during a vocal quartet performance of “God Bless America” at the 2013 World Series Game 6 at Fenway Park.

Sergeant Wilson is proud to serve with her fellow Airmen in support of the Air Combat Command mission.  She comes from a proud military family and is grateful for the opportunities the Air Force has provided for her and her family.
