Master Sergeant Ken J. Jones is a Regional Band Craftsman, Trumpet with the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, Travis AFB, CA. Sergeant Jones entered the Massachusetts Air Force Air National Guard, 567th Air National Guard Band of the Northeast in November 2005. Upon completion of his civilian education Sergeant Jones went Active Duty reporting to The Band of the West at Lackland AFB in San Antonio Texas. Sergeant Jones was then assigned to the USAFE Band at Ramstein AB Germany in May of 2012. Sergeant Jones served as an FTAC lead in 2015 at the Ramstein Professional Enhancement Center before being selected as an Airman Leadership School Instructor. Sergeant Jones started his duties as a Professional Military Education Instructor at the Ramstein Airman Leadership School in February of 2016. As an instructor, he was responsible for the development of front line supervisors by providing academic instruction and guidance that affected over 700 ALS students annually. Sergeant Jones is currently the Band of the Golden Wests’ Additional Duty First Sergeant where he is the primary advisor to the commander for discipline, moral, welfare, and quality of life issues for unit members and their families.
