Staff Sergeant Jacob Moore is a tubist with the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, Travis AFB, CA. Originally from Canton, Texas, his Air Force career began in 2019.
SSgt Moore is a 2013 graduate of the University of Houston, where he earned a Bachelor's degree in Applied Music. In 2016, he earned a Performer’s Certificate from Bard College Conservatory of Music, and in 2018 he earned his Master’s from the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music. He has performed with the New Jersey Symphony Orchestra, Monterey Symphony, Stockton Symphony and Oakland Symphony. His primary teachers include Timothy Northcut, Chris Olka, David Kirk, Derek Fenstermacher, Kent Eshelman and Mark Barton.
