Senior Airman Anna Gilpatrick is a French hornist with the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, Travis AFB, CA. Originally from State College, PA, her Air Force career began in 2019.
SrA Gilpatrick is a 2016 graduate of the University of Michigan Ann Arbor where she earned a Bachelor’s Degree in French Horn Performance and Music Education. In 2019, she received a Master’s of Music degree in French Horn performance from the University of Southern California. Her teachers include Adam Unsworth, Bryan Kennedy, Kristy Morrell, and Steve Becknell. SrA Gilpatrick previously held the position of Second Horn with the Jackson Symphony in Jackson, MI from 2015-2018. She has also played with groups such as the Los Angeles Sinfonietta, the Debut Chamber Orchestra, and has attended music festivals such as the Texas Music Festival and the Hot Springs Music Festival.
