Chief Master Sergeant Jeremy Remley

Chief Master Sergeant Jeremy Remley is the Chief Enlisted Manager for the United States Air Force Heartland of America Band at Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska.  He serves as the principal advisor to the commander stationed at Langley Air Force Base and is responsible for functional oversight of personnel, resources, readiness, and operations in support of 175 missions annually across a 77,000-square mile area of responsibility furthering Air Combat Command’s strategic communication, resiliency and future focus priorities.  Additionally, his 15-member team supports United States Strategic Command, Air Forces Central Command, and Air Force District of Washington international engagement priorities.

Prior to entering the military, Chief Remley attended Appalachian State University in Boone, North Carolina where he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Music Education.  He continued his education at East Carolina University in Greenville, North Carolina where he completed coursework towards his Masters Degree in Music Education.

Chief Master Sergeant Remley began his military career in 1993 as a Reservist in the United States Marine Corps while still attending college.  Upon graduation, he continued his service by entering active duty with the Second Marine Aircraft Wing Band at Cherry Point, North Carolina where he served as the Assistant Enlisted Band Leader and performed on the tuba.  In 2001, he “crossed into the blue” and began his career as an Airman at Langley Air Force Base, Virginia.   There he had the opportunity to tour some of the most beautiful and scenic areas of the country's east coast on behalf of Air Combat Command.  He later had the privilege to serve with the United States Air Forces in Europe Band where he helped build and sustain international relationships across Europe.  In 2009, Chief Remley seized the opportunity to mold some of our forces newest Airmen by stepping out of his career field and serving in a special duty assignment as a Military Training Instructor at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas where he led the 737th Training Group Drum and Bugle Corps.  During his time as an MTI, he also served as the First Sergeant for the 323rd Training Squadron.  Upon completion of this assignment, Chief Remley returned to his career field with the United States Air Force Academy Band where he furthered the reach of the Air Force’s premier educational institution, and contributed to the development of the next generation of Air Force officers.  While stationed in Colorado, he completed a deployment to Al Udeid Air Base where he served as the Director of Operations for the United States Air Force Central Command Band.  Prior to assuming his current role, Chief Remley served as the Superintendent for the United States Air Force Band of the Pacific where he supported Pacific Air Force’s vital international partnership building and strategic communication objectives in the Indo-Pacific area of responsibility.
