Airman 1st Class Amelia Szymanek

Airman First Class Amelia Szymanek, a vocalist with the United States Air Force Band of Mid-America, is a native of Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She received her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education and graduated with honors from Loras College in Dubuque, Iowa. In July of 2017 Airman Szymanek joined the Air Force and was assigned to the Band of the West, JBSA-Lackland Air Force Base, Texas. While at the Band of the West Airman Szymanek appeared at the 2018 Daytona 500, 2018 NCAA Final Four Championship, and went on a recruiting and morale boosting mission to Puerto Rico. She is currently the vocalist for the rock/pop ensemble “Starlifter” at Scott Air Force Base, IL.
