Staff Sergeant Allison Long Staff Sergeant Alison Long is a clarinetist with the Air National Guard Band of the Northeast. Originally from Center Valley PA, Sergeant Long enlisted in the Air Force on September 21, 2012. Sergeant Long graduated from Southern Lehigh High School in Center Valley, PA. She currently attends The Pennsylvania State University, where her studies will lead her to a Bachelors' degree in Music Education with a focus in clarinet, and an additional certificate of performance in clarinet studies. Her anticipated graduation date is May of 2015. Sergeant Long also plays the baritone saxophone with High Altitude, and often plays the bass clarinet, contra-bass clarinet, or baritone saxophone with the concert band as needed. Sergeant Long recently performed at Alice Tully Hall in Lincoln Center, New York with The Penn State Wind Ensemble. Sergeant Long currently resides in State College, PA and is a full time student. When not studying, she can be found exercising, cooking, or traveling. Sergeant Long's awards and decorations include the Air Force Basic Training Medal and the National Defense Service ribbon.
