Staff Sergeant Geoffrey Fisher

Staff Sergeant Geoffrey D. Fisher performs as a vocalist in the United States Air Force Heartland of America Band, Offutt Air Force Base, Nebraska. In addition to his musical duties, he serves as the Emergency Management Representative for the unit.

Sergeant Fisher hails from Twin Falls, Idaho. He originally entered the Air Force in 1996 as an Aerospace Ground Equipment Journeyman. His musical background in Idaho included winning placement in the Idaho All-State Choir, singing in church choirs, and performing upright bass for the Magic Valley Symphony Orchestra. After touring with the Air Force's Tops in Blue, Sergeant Fisher decided he wanted to perform full time, and won an audition for the Air Force Band of Flight, at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, near Dayton, Ohio.

He has performed for one president, several Apollo astronauts, John Travolta, and numerous Air Force senior leaders and heads of state while stationed in Europe.
