Technical Sergeant Peggy Miller Peggy Miller has served as a member of the Air National Guard Band of the Midwest since 2001. She performs on piano, trumpet, French horn, and bassoon and is a featured vocalist. She is a member of the concert band, ceremonial band, jazz ensemble, Dixie Band, protocol combo and rock band. In addition, her ancillary duties include NCOIC of publicity, NCOIC of "Ice Blue" protocol combo, and assistant NCOIC of "Harmony in Blue" Jazz Ensemble. In 2009 she deployed to Qatar, Kuwait, Iraq and Afghanistan as part of the AFCENT band Sonora. In 2012 she deployed to Qatar, Afghanistan, Bahrain, Jordan and Egypt as part of the AFCENT band Vector. She was named Airman of the Year in 2002 and NCO of the Year in 2013. TSgt Miller holds a BA in Music Education from Utah State University, an MS in Human Resource Management from Chapman University, an MS in Educational Leadership from Eastern Illinois University, and a Learning Behavior Specialist certificate from Eastern Illinois University. She currently resides in Champaign, IL with her family. She serves as a high school Special Education program coordinator for students with Emotional Disabilities and she is a district trainer for Positive Behavior Facilitation. Hometown: Terreton, ID
