Staff Sergeant Jose Silva Jose Silva has served as a member of the Air National Guard Band of the Midwest since 2012. Prior to joining the Band of the Midwest, he was a member of the Air National Guard Band of the Central States in St. Louis, MO. He performs on clarinet in the concert band, ceremonial band, and clarinet quartet. In addition, his ancillary duty is library staff. SSgt Silva holds a Bachelor of Music from Missouri Baptist University and a Master of Arts from Webster University. He currently lives in St. Louis, MO, and serves as adjunct professor at Missouri Baptist University and a private educator for the local area. Hometown: Ft. Bragg, NC
