Technical Sergeant Jeff Strahlem Jeff Strahlem has served as a member of the Air National Guard Band of the Midwest since 2012. Before joining the Air National Guard Band of the Midwest he served with the active duty Army 101st Airbourne Division Band (1984-1987), active duty 502nd Air Foce Band (1987-1990), and the Air National Guard Band of the Central States (1993-2012). He performs on trumpet in the concert band, ceremonial band, jazz band, and brass quintet. TSgt Strahlem works in supply as his ancillary duty. In 2006, he deployed to Al Udeid and Qatar in support of Operation Enduring Freedom. He holds a Bachelor of Jazz Performance from the Southern Illinois University at Edwardsville. He currently resides in Belleville, IL and serves as a senior case technician at the Office of Disability Adjudication and Review.
