Technical Sergeant Douglas G Davey

Technical Sergeant Douglas Davey plays the flute and piccolo with the Air National Guard Band of the Mid-Atlantic. He serves as the Library and Supply NCOIC. Originally from Norfolk, Va, his Air Force career began in 1977.

Tech Sergeant Davey graduated from Camp Hill High School in Camp Hill, Pa. He attended Cumberland/Perry Vocational School, where he received various professional certificates. He studied liberal arts at Harrisburg Area Community College, Harrisburg, Pa.

Tech Sergeant Davey currently resides in Shermans Dale, Pa. In his civilian career, he is a construction worker and electrician. He is active in the Lions Club, Lions Club Pit Orchestra, and his church choir.

Tech Sergeant Davey enlisted in the Air Force in 1977, joining the 47th Organized Maintenance Squadron, Laughlin AFB, TX. He was a member of the 193rd CAM Squadron for one year before joining the Air National Guard Band of the Mid-Atlantic. He is a graduate of the NCO Leadership Correspondence Course.

Tech Sergeant Davey's awards and decorations include the Air Force Achievement Medal; the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award with two oak leaf clusters; and the National Defense Service Medal with one bronze star.
