Staff Sergeant Brian Patishnock Staff Sergeant Brian R. Patishnock is the principal percussionist with the Air National Guard Band of the Northeast. Originally from Clarence, Pa., his Air Force career began in 2005. Sergeant Patishnock graduated from Bald Eagle Area High School in Wingate, Pa. He holds a Bachelor of Arts degree in Interdisciplinary Fine Arts from Indiana University of Pennsylvania, Indiana, Pa. In addition to his percussion responsibilities, he plays trumpet with High Altitude and has performed in major cities both CONUS AND OCONUS, most recently in support of Operation Enduring Freedom while assigned to the AFCENT Band. He also serves as the Unit Transportation NCO. Sergeant Patishnock currently resides in Newport, Pa. In his civilian career, he serves as a Licensing Technician with the Pennsylvania Liquor Control Board. Sergeant Patishnock's awards and decorations include the Air Force Outstanding Unit Award, the Air Reserve Forces Meritorious Service Medal, the Global War on Terror Expeditionary and Service Medals, the Air Force Commendation Medal, and the National Defense Service Medal.
