Senior Master Sergeant Gary Noel

A native of West Warwick, Rhode Island, Senior Master Sergeant Gary Noel is a guitarist with the United States Air Force Band of the Pacific's Small Kine.

Sergeant Noel graduated from John F. Deering High School in 1990. He attended the Community College of Rhode Island and earned an Associate degree in Jazz Studies. In 1994, Sergeant Noel continued his studies at Rhode Island College. He studied with David Spadazzi and was a freelance guitarist performing with several bands in Rhode Island and Massachusetts area. In 1995, Sergeant Noel enlisted in the United States Army as a guitarist and was assigned to the 10th Mountain Division Band in New York. He was later reassigned to the S.H.A.P.E. Band in Mons, Belgium. In 2003, Sergeant Noel enlisted in the United States Air Force and received an assignment with the Band of Liberty, Hanscom AFB, MA. During his time at Hanscom, he performed with the Concert Band, Jazz Band and Popular Music Group.
