Master Sergeant Jason Baedke

Master Sergeant Jason Baedke plays saxophone with the United States Air Force Band of Mid-America. He is a member of the Concert Band, Ceremonial Band and the Shades of Blue Jazz Ensemble.

A graduate of Northern Arizona University, Sergeant Baedke holds a Bachelor of Music degree in Saxophone Performance and a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology. Sergeant Baedke's teachers have included Michael Hester, Wilde Zumwald, Eric Kloss, Tatsuya Sato, Christ Vadala and Eric Marienthal.

In 1997, Sergeant Baedke auditioned for the U. S. Air Force Bands & Music Program, and was assigned to the Band of Flight, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio. In 1998 Sergeant Baedke was assigned to the Band of the Pacific serving 3 tours between Elmendorf AFB, Alaska, and Yokota AB, Japan. He was assigned to the Band of Mid-America in 2007. His military awards include Airman Leadership School Distinguished Graduate, Air Force Commendation Medal with one oak leaf cluster, and Air Force Achievement medal.
