Tech Sergeant Robert Browning

Technical Sergeant Robert L. Browning is a percussionist at the U.S. Air Force Band of the Golden West, Travis AFB. Technical Sergeant Browning is the NCOIC of the ‘Pacific Trends’ combo as well as facility manager for the PACAF Band.
TSgt Browning started his military career in 1995 with the 156th Louisiana Army National Guard Band.  During his college and even into his teaching years, Sergeant Browning was with the 156th until 2002. He then moved to Texas to teach music and also transferred services to the 531st Texas Air National Guard Band.  His tenure with the 531st was short as he earned a permanent position with the Air Force Band of the West, Oct 2003.  Sergeant Browning spent 4 ½ years in San Antonio before receiving an assignment to the Air Forces in Europe Band in July of 2008.  After six years in Germany, he and his wife were called back to San Antonio for another 4½ years with the Band of the West.  In 2019, Technical Sergeant Browning received an assignment to serve in the Band of the Pacific, Yokota Air Base, Japan.
