Chief Master Sergeant Brian Hornbuckle serves as the Senior Enlisted Leader with the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, Travis AFB, CA. Originally from Huntington, West Virginia his Air Force career began in 2000 with the Band of Flight at Wright Patterson AFB, OH.
He began his collegiate studies at Marshall University and continued at the University of Kentucky, where he received a Bachelor of Music Education degree in 1996. Chief Hornbuckle furthered his education at the University of Louisville where he received a Master of Music Performance degree in 1998. In August of 2000, Chief Hornbuckle joined the Air Force and was assigned to the Band of Flight, WPAFB AFB, OH until he was assigned to the Air Force Band of the Pacific, Hawaii, JBPHH-HI in 2013. Prior to his current assignment at the Band of the Golden West, he served eight and a half years at the Band of the West, JBSA-Lackland, TX.
