Master Sergeant (MSgt) Eric J. Frank is the Superintendent of the United States Air Force Heritage of America Band. He serves as advisor to the Commander and Chief Enlisted Manager and ensures that all administrative positions function efficiently to provide ready, trained and equipped Airmen to fulfill the unit’s stateside and global missions. Additionally, he directs professional and leadership development and guides enlisted member’s career progression.
MSgt Frank grew up in Lansdale, Pennsylvania and enlisted in the United States Air Force in August 2001. Upon graduating from basic military training in October 2001, MSgt Frank directly reported to his first duty assignment as a member of the Band of the United States Air Force Reserve, Robins Air Force Base, Ga. While serving there, MSgt Frank traveled worldwide supporting Air Force Reserve members until July 2011. From July 2011 until September 2013 MSgt Frank was the NCOIC of Nighthawk for the United States Air Force Band of Flight, Wright Patterson Air Force Base, Oh. Next, MSgt Frank was assigned to the United States Air Force Band of the West at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas from September 2013 until February of 2017. As NCOIC for Dimensions in Blue, MSgt Frank led a 21 member team that performed recruiting, community outreach and military support missions across a seven state area of responsibility. Prior to his arrival at the United Sates Air Force Heritage of America Band, Master Sergeant Frank served as the as the focal point for all readiness, health, morale, welfare and quality of life issues as First Sergeant of the 343d Training Squadron, the 59th Dental Group and 59th Medical Operations Group, Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas.
