Technical Sergeant (TSgt) Justin Weisenborn, a native of Garland, Texas, performs on trumpet with the United States Air Force (USAF) Band of the West, located at JBSA – Lackland, Texas.
TSgt Weisenborn earned a Bachelor of Music in trumpet performance with a Minor in Mathematics from Southern Methodist University, where he studied with Tom Booth of the Dallas Symphony Orchestra and jazz trumpeter Akira Sato. In 2017, TSgt Weisenborn received his Master of Music in trumpet performance from Oklahoma State University, where he studied with Dr. Ryan Gardner and served as the graduate assistant for the trumpet studio.
