Technical Sergeant Andrew P. Wendzikowski is a percussionist with the United States Air Forces in Europe Band, Ramstein Air Base Germany. He is currently percussionist and Noncommissioned Officer in Charge of the unit’s jazz music ensemble “The Ambassadors.”
Originally from Buffalo, New York, Sergeant Wendzikowski purused further music education at the University of Buffalo before moving to a career as a cruise ship musician on Carnival Cruise Lines. He enlisted in the United States Air Force in April, 2005 after a successful audition and began his career with the US Air Force Band of the West, stationed at Joint Base San Antonio-Lackland, Texas. He has had the opportunity to serve in Japan, Germany, and on four deployments as a member of the AFCENT Band. Prior to his current position, Sergeant Wendzikowski was a percussionist with the USAFE Band, Ramstein AB, Germany.
