Master Sergeant Beverly K Perriccio Master Sergeant Beverly Perriccio is a trumpet player with the Air National Guard Band of the Northeast. She began her military career in 1978, soon after graduating from the University of Texas at El Paso with a Bachelor of Music Education degree. Her first unit of assignment was with the Air Force Band of New England at Pease AFB, NH. From there, Sergeant Perriccio had the pleasure of being assigned overseas with the USAFE Band where she toured extensively throughout Western Europe. Upon her return to the States, she was once again stationed at Pease AFB, NH, during which time she received her Master of Arts degree in Music History and Literature from the University of New Hampshire. In 1986, Sergeant Perriccio joined the Air National Guard Band of the Northeast, where she serves as the NCIOC of "Brass Tacks", performs with "Sounds in Blue" and with the "Ambassadors" jazz ensemble. In civilian life, Sergeant Perriccio is an instrumental music teacher in Exeter, NH and resides with her trumpet-playing husband Dennis (MSgt ret). Sergeant Perriccio is a Distinguished Graduate from both the NCO Leadership School and the NCO Academy, as well as an Honor Graduate from Air Force Basic Military Training. Her military awards include the Air Force Commendation Medal, the Air Force Achievement Medal (with two oak leaf clusters), Outstanding Unit Award (with one oak leaf cluster), Global War on Terrorism Service Medal, and the Overseas Ribbon (Long Tour). In her spare time, Sergeant Perriccio enjoys spending time with her horse and watching her two favorite sports teams, the New York Yankees and the Dallas Cowboys.
