Staff Sergeant Megan May Staff Sergeant Megan May is a vocalist with the United States Air Force Band of the Golden West, Travis AFB, CA. Originally from Bethel Park, Pennsylvania, her Air Force career began in 2010. SSgt May is a 2008 graduate of West Chester University of Pennsylvania where she earned a B.M. Music Education. In 2013, she received a M.M. in Vocal Performance from West Chester University of Pennsylvania. Her teachers include Dr. Jane Wyss, Mr. Randall Scarlata, Dr. Inn Young Lee, and Dr. Emily Bullock. SSgt May has performed several sporting events to include the San Francisco 49ers, San Francisco Giants, Oakland Raider's, NASCAR, and with the world famous Gene Simmons from KISS.
