TSgt Ainsley DeWitt serves as a vocalist for the Band of Flight.
TSgt DeWitt joined the Air Force in 2011, and was assigned to the Band of the West, Lackland AFB, where she served as a Trombonist and Publicity Clerk. In 2015, she was first assigned to the Band of Flight, Wright-Patterson AFB, where she served as Operations Representative and GPC Approving Official. While assigned to the Band of Flight, TSgt DeWitt was awarded a secondary AFSC as a vocalist. In 2017, she deployed as part of the AFCENT Band in support of Operation Inherent Resolve, during which she performed in Jordan, Kuwait, Qatar, UAE, and Afghanistan.
Originally hailing from Corpus Christi, TX, TSgt DeWitt pursued a Bachelor’s Degree in Trombone Performance, and a Master’s Degree in Music Performance from Baylor University and Southern Methodist University, respectively. In addition to her academic pursuits, TSgt DeWitt studied with renowned artists Brent Phillips, Alex Parker, John Kitzman, Per Brevig, and Joseph Alessi.
