Master Sergeant Michael Correa

MSgt Mike Correa serves as a percussionist with the United States Air Force Band of Mid-America, Scott Air Force Base, MO. His responsibilities include performing with the Concert Band, the Marching Band, and working in marketing and graphic design.  

MSgt Correa is a native of Binghamton, NY.  He graduated from the Ithaca College School of Music in 1998 with a Bachelor of Music, and a Master of Music from the Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music in 2000. Following several years as a music educator, MSgt Correa joined the USAF in 2005 and upon completion of Basic Military Training in February 2006, was assigned to the United States Air Force Band of Liberty, Hanscom AFB, MA. In 2010 he completed Airman Leadership School where he was awarded the Pitsenbarger Award. In 2013 he was assigned to the Band of Mid-America, Scott AFB, MO, where he currently serves. Prior to his current position, MSgt Correa served as the Additional Duty First Sgt for the Band of Mid-America, Scott AFB, IL.
