Staff Sergeant (SSgt) Daniel McCoy serves as an audio engineer for the United States Air Force (USAF) Heritage of America Band. A native of Seward, IL, SSgt McCoy received his Bachelor of Arts in Performing Arts from Clemson University in Clemson, South Carolina. He continued his education and received his Masters of Fine Art in Digital Production Arts. Prior to joining the Air Force, SSgt McCoy was the Audio Lead at The Brooks Center for the Performing Arts, also at Clemson University.
SSgt McCoy enlisted in 2015 with the USAF Band of Mid-America, Scott Air Force Base, Illinois, and has performed for military and civilian audiences worldwide.
SSgt McCoy deployed in 2017 to nine countries throughout Southwest Asia in support of Operation Inherent Resolve.
