Master Sergeant Peter Dahlstrom

Master Sergeant Peter Dahlstrom is assigned to the United States Air Force Band of Flight, Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.  He performs his musical duties on French Horn and Mellophone with the unit's performing ensembles. In addition to his musical duties, he serves as the Section Chief for Administrative Support amongst other collateral duties assigned.

A native of Columbus, Ohio, he received his Bachelor of Music degree from the Capital University in Columbus and then went on to earn his Masters of Music at Illinois State University. In 2001 Sergeant Dahlstrom joined the Air Force and was assigned to the USAF Band of Mid-America at Scott Air Force Base, IL. In 2009 he was re-assigned to the US Air Forces in Europe Band at Ramstein Air Base, Germany. In 2015 Sergeant Dahlstrom was again assigned to the Band of Mid-America at Scott Air Force Base, IL.   During his career he has performed for President of the United States Jimmy Carter, George W. Bush, William Clinton and George W. Bush, multiple foreign heads of states and military leaders, the United States Vice President, multiple US Ambassadors, the US Secretary of Defense, Supreme Allied Commander Europe, and Chief of Staff of the US Army and US Air Force.  Sergeant Dahlstrom has also performed with the nationally renowned artists Sammy Nestico, Toni Tennille, Christine Brewer, and Patrick Sheridan.

Throughout his career, he has deployed twice in support of the US Air Forces Central & the US Africa Command mission supporting Operation ENDURING FREEDOM, Operation IRAQI FREEDOM, Operation INHERENT RESOLVE, and Operation FREEDOM’S SENTINEL and the NATO RESOLUTE SUPPORT mission.
