Technical Sergeant Rob Hyatt

Technical Sergeant Rob Hyatt, a native of Racine, Wisconsin is a trombonist with the United States Air Force Band of Mid-America stationed at Scott Air Force Base, Illinois.

Sergeant Hyatt performs with the Concert Band, Ceremonial Band, Marching Band, and Jazz Ensemble.  His collateral duties include being the Non-Commissioned Officer In Charge the his unit’s supply section.

In 2004, Sergeant Hyatt auditioned for the USAF bands career field and was assigned to the USAF Band of the Reserve, Robins AFB, Georgia.  In 2008  he was assigned to the USAF Band of Mid-America where he performs on trombone and has served as Supply NCOIC, ADO, Jazz Ensemble NCOIC, Brass Quintet NCOIC, and Operations Specialist. Prior to enlisting in the United States Air Force, Sergeant Hyatt toured with Jazz Legend Maynard Ferguson as his trombonist in “Big Bop Nouveau”.
