Tech Sergeant Gregory Lacy

Technical Sergeant Greg Lacy was born in Tennessee, and raised in Alabama and Texas. He received a Bachelor of Fine Arts degree in Jazz Studies with an Arranging Emphasis from the University of North Texas in 1994. He then worked as a freelance musician for several Dallas-Fort Worth based ensembles and two cruise lines. In January of 2002 Sergeant Lacy joined the Air Force and was assigned to the USAF Band of the West.  He then served for five years with the Band of the Pacific-Hawaii at Hickam Air Force Base before returning to the Band of the West. Sergeant Lacy is proficient in numerous Macintosh-based notation, recording and sequencing programs. His free time is spent with his lovely wife, Libby, his two stepchildren and four grandchildren.
