Master Sergeant Pedro Ramirez-Rodriguez

Master Sgt. Pedro Manuel Rodríguez Ramírez is an audio engineer and part of the Production Team of the United States Air Force Band. Originally from Ponce, Puerto Rico, he began his Air Force career in 2016 with the Band of the West at Lackland Air Force Base, Texas, and joined The USAF Band in 2019.

Sgt. Rodríguez Ramírez was a police officer and audiovisual engineer for the Puerto Rico Police Band for 14 years. Since 1999, he's been in audio and production of events, and ran his own production company till 2009. In 2006 he was an audio engineer for Católica TV, and over an eight-year-period, he worked as a recording engineer and studio technician with Latin Grammy winners José Edgardo Díaz and Marcos Sánchez.

Sgt. Rodríguez Ramírez's achievements include being named USAF Band of the West Airman of the 1st Quarter 2018, USAF Band of the West Airman of the 4th Quarter 2018, USAF Band of the West Airman of the Year 2018, 502d Air Base Wing December 2019 MVP (Mission, Values, and People), and Joint Base Anacostia-Bolling Goose of the Week in August 2020.

Sgt. Rodríguez Ramirez has a Bachelor of Science in Liberal Studies degree from the Pontifical Catholic University of Puerto Rico and an Associate of Applied Science degree in Electronic Engineering Technology from the Technological Institute of Puerto Rico.
