Technical Sergeant Jaime Parker is a trombonist with the United States Air Force Academy Band Falconaires jazz band, Concert Band, and Ceremonial Band. He is the Noncommissioned Officer in Charge of Video and Live Productions
Sergeant Parker is a native of Jacksonville, Florida. He auditioned for the US Air Force Band Program and entered Basic Military Training School in late 2011. Since then, he has performed for millions of people across the globe as an Air Force bandsman. Parker also served the USAF Band of the West as Operations Representative for the unit's three largest ensembles: the Concert Band, the Ceremonial Marching Band, and Dimensions in Blue jazz ensemble. He subsequently served as both NCOIC of Social Media and NCOIC of Video Productions for the Band of the West.
In 2013, Parker was awarded a "Below the Zone" early promotion to Senior Airman in recognition of his achievements as an airman and musician. In 2016, Parker graduated from Airman Leadership School, receiving the Distinguished Graduate Award. In 2021, Parker won a position with the Premier USAF Academy Band, where he serves as NCOIC of Video and Live Productions.
In addition to his Air Force duties, Parker is active freelance musician, and has performed on both tenor and bass trombone with the Glenn Miller Orchestra, the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra, Sam Rivers' RivBea Orchestra, The Temptations, The Greeley Philharmonic, Hugh Jackman, and many more.
