Master Sergeant Kara Frank Master Sergeant Kara Frank is a native of Sioux Falls, South Dakota. She received her Bachelor of Arts in Music Education from Augustana University in 1999. Sergeant Frank enlisted in the United States Air Force in 2000. Her assignments include: the Band of the USAF Reserve from 2000 to 2011, the USAF Band of Flight from 2011-2013 and the USAF Band of West, JBSA-Lackland AFB TX in 2013. While stationed at Robins Air Force Base, she had the privilege of performing for many world leaders including the President of the United States, the Vice President of the United States, the Prime Minister of Japan, and the Prime Minister of Ireland among others. Sergeant Frank's military awards and decorations include the Meritorious Service Medal with one oak leaf cluster, the Air Force Commendation Medal with one oak leaf cluster, the Air Force Achievement Medal with one oak leaf cluster, the Good Conduct Medal with three oak leaf clusters, the National Defense Service Medal, and the Global War on Terrorism Service Medal.
