Master Sergeant Nick Wellman

Master Sergeant Nicholas Wellman is a native of West Point, Nebraska. He received his Associates Degree in Audio and Recording Technology from Northeast Community College in 2000. In November of 2000 Sergeant Wellman joined the Air Force and was assigned to the Air Force Band of the West, Lackland AFB, TX where he was a member until he was reassigned to the U.S. Air Forces in Europe Band in Ramstein, Germany in July of 2009. From 2009 to 2016, Master Sergeant Wellman and his family lived in Steinwenden, Germany, traveling with the USAFE Band throughout Europe and Africa. In July of 2016, Sergeant Wellman re-joined the USAF Band of the West, where he has served as Audio Engineer, and as Section Chief of Publicity, Resources, and Administrative Support, as well as the Additional Duty First Sergeant for the Unit. Throughout his career, Sergeant Wellman has completed three deployments with the Air Force Central Command Band and has traveled extensively throughout the middle-east, and Africa.  In his spare time, Sergeant Wellman likes to run, practice photography and carpentry and spend time with his family.
